We’re a specialist training provider for first aid, fire safety, pre-hospital care, mental health and manual handling qualifications and courses. Plus, we offer internal quality assurance (IQA) services for approved training centres.
High-quality training and services
Our training ranges from basic awareness courses to specialist qualifications in areas such as first aid at work, mental health first aid and first response emergency care. Learners will gain invaluable skills they can use in the home or workplace and for dealing with infants and children.
Based in Coventry in the West Midlands, we deliver our courses wherever we’re needed in the UK. We can come to your premises if you have suitable facilities, and we also offer open training courses at high-quality venues around the UK. Our training and qualifications will help ensure you fulfil your health and safety responsibilities or expand your skills.
And if you run an approved training centre that needs support with its internal quality assurance strategy, we can help ensure you’re compliant with the requirements set out by qualification regulators.

Who we are
Eden Custom Training was launched by our managing directors, brothers Sacha and Wayne Quinney, who started the business in 2008. Since then, we’ve built a network of highly competent trainers across the UK.
Sacha Quinney
Director of Training
Sacha worked for more than 30 years in the fire and rescue sector, across a range of operational and management roles. And he is now our Director of Training.
Sacha is enthusiastic about supporting people to successfully achieve their personal and professional goals. That’s why he dedicates his time to offering a professional learning and consultancy experience for organisations and individuals.
Wayne Quinney
Director & Company Accountant
Wayne has a financial background, having qualified with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) in 1992. Starting at Dunlop Engineering, he gained experience across the engineering, manufacturing and service sectors.
As our Director and Company Accountant, Wayne helps our clients to find the most suitable training for their needs, and also manages the company’s finances. Since co-founding the business, he’s acquired vast knowledge, experience and understanding of various sectors while supporting clients across the UK.
Certification
We use regulated qualifications for our training wherever possible. We’re approved by Qualsafe Awards (QA), an awarding organisation recognised by Ofqual to provide regulated qualifications.
Receiving a regulated qualification means you can rest assured about the quality, quantity and subject matter of your training. We undergo an intensive process of internal and external quality control to ensure our training is of the highest standard.
Many bodies may ask to see your certification, such as the HSE, Ofqual, any trade body associations and/or your insurance company. Having a regulated qualification means your certificate is instantly recognised and accepted without the need for you to complete any due diligence process.
Where a regulated qualification doesn’t exist for your chosen topic, you’ll receive a certificate of attendance listing the topics covered.

This course is for all employees who have been assigned to help with the evacuation of people with impaired mobility.
This training is ideal for people who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves moving people and/or objects.
Learners will gain the confidence to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations and/or take on the role of first-aider in the workplace.
This qualification is for people who deal with first aid at work. It will enable them to be workplace first-aiders under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.
This requalification is for people whose First Aid at Work certificate is due for renewal and who have a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to give first aid.
Learners will refresh their skills and knowledge as workplace first-aiders. It's mainly for qualified first-aiders who have a specific interest or a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to give first aid.
This qualification is for people who are required to provide emergency first aid to infants and/or children, enabling them to have skills and knowledge of how to deal with paediatric first aid.
Learners will increase their awareness of mental health problems associated with work and everyday life. And they'll discover how they can potentially improve their own mindfulness.
This course is for people who want to increase their mental health awareness and be able to direct anyone with potential mental health problems to professional support.
Learners will gain the confidence, knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of pre-hospital emergency care situations.
This requalification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to give pre-hospital care to patients needing emergency care/treatment.
The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is for people who work with – or look after – infants and children. Participants will get the skills and knowledge to deal with paediatric first aid.
This annual refresher course will help learners maintain their skills and stay up to date with any changes to paediatric first aid procedures.
Learners will become qualified to safely use an automated external defibrillator and perform basic life support.
This training is for all employees to increase their basic fire safety awareness. It will help fulfil an employer's legal duty to train all their staff in fire safety.
Participants will develop their fire safety awareness and learn about the principles of safe firefighting in the workplace.
Learners will expand their fire safety awareness, and the course will help them build an understanding of fire safety management at work.
This training will give learners the confidence to deal with a range of first aid situations. The course will help fulfil an employer’s legal duty to train their staff in first aid.
Participants will learn about common mental health problems related to work. Successful candidates will qualify to take on a role as a Mental Health First Aider.
Learners will get the confidence to deal with catastrophic bleeding in an emergency. And for every course delivered, Eden Custom Training will donate a FREE bleed kit to the community or the equivalent cost of a bleed kit to a bleed control foundation or charity.
All approved training centres delivering recognised qualifications must have a quality assurance strategy in place. We have a team of Level 4-qualified internal quality assurers who can support your training centre’s quality assurance strategy.
