In this month’s newsletter, read how we’ve been supporting frontline responders and hotels across the UK with life-saving training, plus the benefits of providing realistic, immersive training experiences to give our customers the confidence to act.

Supporting frontline responders in Shropshire

We're proud to have recently supported Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service with their Responding Officer training.

This Emergency First Aid at Work course included catastrophic bleeding management, equipping officers with the skills and confidence to respond to life-threatening incidents. As part of this initiative, responding officers are now carrying defibrillators and bleed control kits in their vehicles, a vital step in improving early intervention and patient outcomes.

Training those who are first on scene can make a critical difference, and we're pleased to play a role in strengthening emergency preparedness.

First FREC Level 3 course of 2026 delivered

This month marks the first Level 3 First Response Emergency Care (FREC) course we’ve delivered in 2026.

This enhanced qualification is designed for those working in or aspiring to work in pre-hospital care, including medics and dedicated responding medical teams.

The course focuses on patient assessment, trauma management and effective decision-making in challenging environments.

It’s always encouraging to work with learners committed to developing their clinical skills and providing a higher standard of emergency care.

Working with The Active Wellbeing Society

We're pleased to be starting work with The Active Wellbeing Society, delivering Emergency First Aid at Work training, including catastrophic bleeding.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving health, wellbeing and emergency readiness within communities. We're looking forward to supporting their team with practical, life-saving skills that can be used both in the workplace and beyond.

Invaluable experience

We're proud to continue our sponsorship of the West Midlands Casualty Simulation Group.

By supporting them with the resources they need to deliver their volunteering services, we're helping trainers create realistic, immersive training scenarios.

This practical experience really helps participants building confidence, improve decision-making and prepare responders for real-world incidents.

Supporting hotels and hospitality

The hotel and hospitality sector continues to face unique safety challenges, from high public interaction to complex evacuation requirements.

Over recent months, we've provided free emergency preparation consultations to hotels across the UK.

These consultations consist of tailored First Aid and Fire Safety training, including evacuation procedures and the use of evacuation equipment.

Proper preparation protects staff, guests and businesses and 2026 is the year to take emergency planning seriously.

Thank you for reading our February newsletter. If there are any specific topics you'd like us to cover next month, or if you'd like to find out more about our training options, we'd love to hear from you.
