Preparing for Martyn’s Law
We recently supported the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre with training as part of their preparations for Martyn’s Law.
A huge congratulations to everyone who took part and thank you to Lana for the fantastic feedback. Another five-star review we’re very proud of!
“Eden Custom Training are phenomenal at providing training in alignment with what an organisation specifically requires to fulfil their medical response capabilities. Sacha delivers thorough, adaptable and invaluable training through visual and practical means, providing feedback and support throughout so we feel more confident and competent when attending medical emergencies. I’d highly recommend for any organisation seeking a first aid course for employees.”

Frappés and first-aid
The Eden Custom Training team recently spent the day with the team at Baxter Baristas, delivering their Emergency First Aid at Work course.
There was plenty of hands-on practice, including CPR, AEDs, practical first aid and some realistic casualty simulation, proving that first aid training doesn’t have to mean sitting around watching PowerPoint slides!
More importantly, the day gave the team the chance to build the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to respond if a real emergency happens, whether that’s at work, with a customer or somewhere in the wider community.
Before anyone asks… all the injuries were fake, all the blood was theatrical, and no casualties were harmed during the making of this training day!
A huge thanks to Steven from Baxter Baristas and Elaine Hann and the team at West Midlands Casualty Simulation Group.

Supporting community safety in Brent
We recently delivered Bleed Kit training for Brent Council, on behalf of The Daniel Baird Foundation and Turtle Medical, with more than 40 people attending.
With eight Bleed Kits now installed across Brent and free community training sessions available, it’s fantastic to see such a strong focus on helping local people feel prepared to save a life.
Do you know your numbers?
It’s Know Your Numbers! Week from 7 to 13 September, an annual campaign from Blood Pressure UK encouraging people to check their blood pressure and understand what their numbers mean.
High blood pressure often has no obvious symptoms, but it can increase the risk of serious conditions including heart attacks and strokes. In fact, Blood Pressure UK estimates that around 4.2 million adults in the UK are living with high blood pressure without knowing it.
So, why not take a few minutes to check your blood pressure?
It’s quick, simple and could be an important step towards looking after your health.
Know your numbers. Know your risks.
